Bespoke Jewellery

I specialise in creating fine jewellery inspired by the imperfect beauty of nature, with every piece thoughtfully designed and handcrafted to become part of your story. Whether it is a bespoke engagement ring or a piece of jewellery for a special occasion I will ensure you are included in every part of the journey making the final piece truly part of you.

The process

To start with, we will go discuss the foundations of your piece: the budget, materials, ring size (if needed), timescales and stones. Bespoke pieces usually take 6-8 weeks to complete. Sometimes they can take a bit longer if we need to discover specific stones and refine the design.

Following on from this discussion I’ll put together a document outlining the brief and containing initial ideas for your piece along side stone options, if relevant, and ball park prices. Once we’ve been through the design process and you are happy with how your piece is looking, I’ll take a 50% deposit. The ring will then go into production.

I’ll then secure your stones and start working on the wax piece. Images will be sent to you along the way to show the making process. Once the wax piece is finished it will the go off to be cast in the metal of your choice. The ring then comes back to me to be polished before it goes off again to be hallmarked. The last part of the process is to set any stones before a final polish. The final balance is due on completion of the piece.
