Hi, I'm Catherine

I’ve always believed the most beautiful things are shaped by time, experience and the world around them – much like my journey into jewellery-making.

Back in 2018, I started by making simple, hand-assembled pieces at my kitchen table, and what began as a creative outlet quickly became a passion for the craftsmanship behind the process. So in 2020, I bought my first soldering kit and started working with precious metals, teaching myself traditional techniques and steadily developing my own style.

One of the biggest things I’ve learnt so far, is that you never stop learning. Since those first days at my kitchen table, I’ve completed specialist training through The Jewellers Academy, studying Silver Jewellery, Fine Jewellery and Advanced Jewellery, while continuing to refine my craft through hands-on making and experimentation.

Before becoming a jeweller, I spent almost two decades working as a graphic designer. Creativity has always been an important part of my life, from studying Fine Art, Product Design and Graphic Arts to building a career in graphic design. Jewellery offered another form of artistic expression, and something different: a chance to step away from the screen and the corporate projects of my day job and reconnect with the grounding feeling of creating something tangible with my hands.

But unlike graphic design, there’s no undo button when you’re using fire and force to manipulate precious metals and gemstones.

Today, I divide my time between design and jewellery-making from my studio in Cheshire, where I create pieces inspired by nature's textures, shifting landscapes and the marks left by time.

Each collection reflects my ongoing fascination with the imperfect beauty of the natural world. From weathered driftwood and ancient trees to windswept coastlines and changing seasons, I find inspiration in the ways nature shapes and reshapes itself over time.

The pieces I create are thoughtful, distinctive and designed to be treasured. Modern heirlooms that celebrate individuality, resilience and the beauty found in life's evolving journey.
